Terms & Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully

Please note that payment for services also implies full agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

All bookings are non-transferable.

Training, Equipment and Handling Methods

Canine Concerns Dog Training uses primarily positive reinforcement and, as such, methods are kind, fair and reward-based. Harsh handling of dogs, physical force and the use of punitive methods and corrections will not be tolerated. Equipment designed to be aversive (including choke chains, prong collars, spray collars, e-collars or any other device deemed unacceptable by Canine Concerns Dog Training instructors) are not permitted in sessions.

Canine Concerns Dog Training instructors reserve the right to ask anyone found to be carrying out punitive correction to leave the training classes, workshop or end the private session and forfeit your course or session payment (whichever is relevant).

Suitability of Dogs

It is imperative that dogs attending sessions are social with other dogs and people.  If, however, your dog is not comfortable in these circumstances please contact enquiries@canineconcerns.co.uk before booking.

If you are concerned that your dog may not cope in a class environment for any reason (including excessive barking or fear of people or other dogs), please contact Canine Concerns Dog Training before booking, well in advance of the course start date via enquiries@canineconcerns.co.uk.

Payment, Rescheduled Dates, Refunds and Cancellations

Payment is required in full at the time of booking a course of classes otherwise your space is not confirmed.  Course booking payments are non-refundable.  If you cancel your spot on the course no refunds will be given.  Course bookings are non-transferable and cannot be rescheduled.  Individual classes cannot be rescheduled.

All course, class times & dates are subject to change prior to course start dates dependent on class numbers.  Changes, if necessary, will be communicated to you by Canine Concerns Dog Training via your contact details.

Private training sessions are paid in advance of the first session.

If you’re attending a workshop hosted and delivered by Canine Concerns Dog Training, your payment is non-refundable but may be transferrable with prior permission via enquiries@canineconcerns.co.uk

If you’re hosting a workshop, the workshop dates are secured with a £50 deposit and paid via invoice in accordance to the relevant booking form.

There will be strictly no refunds for private training sessions if you cancel less than 4 days prior to a scheduled session for any reason. The rescheduled session will be charged at the full rate plus travel (if applicable).

If you give greater than 4 days’ notice of a cancellation of a private training session, then the session may be rescheduled to a mutually convenient date and time free of charge.

In the event of a private training session having to be rescheduled by Canine Concerns Dog Training, these Terms and Conditions will apply, and a new deadline for refunds 4 days prior to the rescheduled date will become effective upon acceptance of the new date and time.

In the event of a private training session having to be cancelled by Canine Concerns Dog Training with no future rescheduled date, for whatever reason, you will receive a refund for the cancelled session.

For hosting workshops, please refer to the relevant booking form for cancellation terms.
