1 to 1 Training
Maybe you are unable to commit to training classes each week or you or your dog are not comfortable working within a group setting. Maybe you have specific training needs & would prefer training tailored to those areas you wish to cover. No problem, we can offer 1 to 1 training especially for you.
Our 1-1's can be organised at your home, at one of our training locations or at a mutually agreed venue. We can also provide a virtual 1 to 1 via Zoom & any follow-up's in this way too
All of our training involves kind, modern methods & reinforcement based strategies which are fun, effective & motivational
There are many topics which you may wish to cover during 1-1 sessions:

Planning for the arrival of a new puppy

Educating your new puppy with life skills

Supporting your dog through adolescence

Teaching your dog recall or building attention & focus

Helping your dog to walk nicely on lead

Finding alternatives to jumping up or stealing food

Building calmness & reducing excitement
Sessions may include practical work, verbal explanations & advice all specific to your dog & your needs. We understand that dogs are individuals & when we treat them as such we can help them in a way that compliments their individual requirements. We aim to help you bond with your dog & build a strong relationship as you train & guide them through life.
1 to 1 Scent Detection Training
We also provide 1-1 sessions tailored specifically for those wishing to take part in Scent Detection with their dogs. Scentwork is extremely enriching for our dogs & can be a wonderful addition to build our dogs confidence & their relationship with us. If you are unable to attend our Scent Detection Introduction Courses we can instead come to you to get you started on your detection journey. 1 to 1 Gundog Training
We also provide 1-1 sessions tailored specifically for those wishing to take part in Pet Gundog Training with their dogs. Gundog training is something we enjoy with our own dogs & we are strong advocates for providing it as a safe fun outlet for enriching our family pets lives. There is nothing better than allowing them to enjoy a job they are genetically designed for (minus the guns & live game). You will also find that much of the training provides skills useful for every day life with your dog. Just be sure to check the box when booking your 1-1 to indicate that you'd like to work on Pet Gundog training for your session.
